Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabiola Pierre.
Fabiola, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I first started the year of 2016 working as an intern for a Marketing agency. I found that I had a skill to being a creative, working doors as a Guest Relations person. I got the chance to work with upcoming celebrities from local parties. That where I meet Cristina Jerome, the CEO of Rnbae which is an RnB collective platform to help local RnB artist to showcase their music. RnBae collective is where I am now event producer for PillowTalk open mic and also Guest Relation Manager for RnBaecollective showcase. Everything I have learned through the years of interning has brought me to place and life that I know my soul purpose. Connecting people to who they need to meet to get to a certain point in the artist career and, etc. I am also a Hairstyles Curator, a skill that I have which explain my social handle DexterityFaby.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. The struggles of being in a relationship and making decisions on pleasing others and not fully believing in my self. Have a 9-5 and trying to balance your true career.
Please tell us more about your work and about RnBae Collective.
So, I do a little of everything from booking artist, photographer, finding the right interns. To finding venues, and creating activation for festivals and more. I specialize and creative ideas, great guest service. I’m good with people as I have a background in Sale retail which we get a different type of people and I know how to handle the different type of personalities. I’m very proud of taking over the open mic that we have in rnbae collective. I get to go one-on-one with artist and research on social media on there a progression in there music and go out to different events to see the local talent. What set me apart from others is that I got the opportunity to work all aspect of the entertainment world. Starting with marketing, production, back work of the event. Even from a different level of an event to local and big events.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
It’s a big city with an intertwine circle of common connection. What I like least is that a lot of people don’t get a chance to shine because it’s a lot of inner circle work but the quality is not there. I like to help new people get a chance.
