My father taught me a work ethic that I’ve never lost… that was to complete what you begin. My mother gave me a background in graphics, color theory, and visual perception because she was a great painter. My very first office job – while I was still in high school – was working for my dad. He was the head of IT at a medium-sized company, and his data entry person went out on maternity leave. Family. My family taught me everything about hard work. My maternal grandparents migrated from Spain during the civil war, bringing only hope for a better future in Venezuela. My grandfather, Santos Rodriguez, began by building radios and eventually became a contractor for the Caracas Electricity Company, starting his own business.
