We recently had the chance to connect with Tre Forte and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tre, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
For me, a normal day is built on discipline and momentum. I’m an early riser – prayer, then the gym. It’s about forging that mental toughness, a discipline ingrained from my Ohio State football days, and crucial for digital marketing’s fast pace. By 10 AM, I’m at my home desk, ready to dive in.
My workday as a Chief Marketing Strategist is anything but static. I’m deep into account management, meticulously overseeing millions in ad spend, consistently managing over $1M monthly across multiple client accounts. This means constant analysis – leveraging pivot tables and charts to diagnose issues and implement precise optimizations. I work across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, and more. I’ll typically have anywhere from 4-7 meetings daily for work and personal life entertainment opportunities.
When the workday wraps, I decompress with a walk or a good book. But my growth journey is continuous. Evenings are for personal and professional development: tackling my next challenge, like writing a book like ‘No Silver Spoons’ , learning a new skill, creating social content, or strategizing my next business move. It’s that relentless competitive drive that I believe separates the good from the great, in both sports and business.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
By day, I’m a Google Ads & Paid Social Expert and a Chief Marketing Strategist. My passion is driving high-ROI paid media strategies that help businesses truly scale. We’re talking about managing millions in ad spend.
But here’s where things get really exciting: my journey is also taking me to your TV screens! I’ve been on a Netflix show (Love Island USA 2), featured in “Paper Line” – a scripted series you can stream on Amazon Prime Video. And there’s more coming: I filmed another show a few months ago that’s set to be revealed in just a few weeks on Fox. On top of all that, I’m actively getting cast for other Netflix and Hulu shows right now, so things are looking incredibly promising!
Ultimately, my major goals are to continue advancing in my marketing career, land that truly big TV role, and keep growing my personal brand and business. This year, I’m focused on launching more helpful, podcast-style content because I genuinely feel I have so much to share to inspire others. It’s about blending strategy with impact, across every platform!
I’m still a person who can talk to anyone, I love to gym, watch sports, and travel. I have been into boxing for the last 7 years, getting better each week – it’s a form of therapy for me. I live for spontaneous activities, but also perfectly fine enjoying a chill night inside to relax.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A pivotal moment that profoundly shaped my entire worldview actually happened back in high school. I was a really skinny kid, and I remember vividly being laughed at when I declared my dream: one day, I was going to play football for The Ohio State University. No one believed me – no one, that is, except for me.
That skepticism became fuel. I trained relentlessly, day in and day out, setting clear goals and pushing myself far beyond what anyone expected. And eventually, that dream became a reality. I played collegiate football at Ohio State. That experience solidified a core belief for me: if I put my mind to something, truly commit to it, I can achieve anything. It showed me that success isn’t about being handed advantages – a theme I explored in my book, “No Silver Spoons”. It’s about grit, relentless competitive drive , and performing under pressure. That mentality has stuck with me ever since, becoming the driving force behind everything I do and getting me to where I am today, both in business and in life.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
You never truly know what you are capable of until you pull yourself from the lowest of the low. No matter how bad things look in the moment, there is always a light on the other side. Dwelling on what’s already happened won’t get you anywhere; you must be a forward-thinker. Suffering also teaches you who is in your corner for the long haul. Everyone wants to be around when you are successful, but the most important people are the ones who will be with you if it all goes away.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. The public version of me – whether it’s through my work, my social content, or even what you’ve seen on TV – that’s authentically me. What you see is what you get. I truly believe in living with integrity and that means showing up consistently as the person I am, both professionally and personally. The drive, the discipline, the commitment to growth – that’s not just for show; it’s genuinely who I am, every single day. Anybody who truly knows me knows that I don’t care about what anyone else thinks, and I’m not afraid to speak up or speak my mind. I accepted that you can’t please everyone a long time ago, and when I did, my life became ten times more peaceful. Some people will love you, some people will like you, and no matter what you do, some people will form an opinion of you to dislike you.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I’m gone isn’t about accolades or numbers, though those are part of the journey. I want them to say I was someone who never settled. That I took that kid who was laughed at in high school for dreaming big and proved that anything you put your mind to is possible.
I hope they remember that I wasn’t afraid to put in the work, that I showed up with grit and relentless competitive drive every single day. That if I said I was going to do something for someone, that I kept my word and did it.
But even more than the professional achievements, I want them to remember that I was someone who was authentic, who was disciplined, and who inspired others to push past their own doubts and chase their biggest goals. I hope they tell a story of a life lived with purpose, constantly challenging the status quo and proving that with no silver spoons, just unwavering belief and hard work, you can truly create your own reality.
Don’t forget to tell the story that I was one of the most consistent men to ever live!
