We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tatiana Aicardi. Check out our conversation below.
Tatiana , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am most proud of building up my faith in God— this has been a game changer not just in my personal life but dramatically in my business. I pray to God about everything related, from who i hire to opportunities that come across my table and everything else in between. Having faith in Gods plan has helped me make better decisions, allowing my company to grow at the speed it has. If a door closes, a relationship ends, I thank God because i know it’s in my best interest. Leaning on my own understanding as i use to, caused me too much stress and took me nowhere.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tatiana Aicardi, and I’m a private chef and the founder of Miami Lux Experience — a luxury culinary concierge company that curates elevated dining experiences for high-profile clients including professional athletes, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and global tastemakers.
What sets my brand apart is our deep focus on personalization, visual storytelling, and wellness-driven cuisine — all wrapped in a refined, unforgettable experience. Whether we’re hosting a multi-course dinner aboard a private yacht, cooking in an oceanfront villa, or designing a chef-curated wellness menu, our goal is always the same: to create connection through food.
My journey began with a passion for cooking and hospitality, but what started as a solo endeavor has grown into a dynamic team of talented chefs and hospitality professionals. I’m currently working on expanding into new markets, launching chef trainings, and developing a global content series that blends food, travel, and luxury lifestyle.
At its core, Miami Lux Experience is about creating moments people remember forever — and I’m honored to share that journey with the world.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
I believe all the woman in my family taught me the most about work — my mother, my aunt & my grandmother. Each of them were very hardworking. From a young age, I remember my mom always striving to do better in her career as an Insurance Rep, even when one door closed she would embrace it and get a better door to open. My aunt, having been dealt a challenging card, having a daughter with disabilities, didn’t keep her down or let herself develops a victim mentality, she continued to pursue a career for herself, ultimately building a successful dental practice with her husband, despite having one foot in the hospital and one at work, seeing her juggle everything with poise, taught me that challenges only make you stronger. I realized that all of these characteristics stems from their mother, my grandmother. She was the Alpha in the family, the who taught me us that work ethic is important. How you move forward despite challenges, giving up isn’t an option, continue showing up with class and grit. My grandmother, a Cuban immigrant, despite the language barrier, was successful in starting a hair salon in California in her mid 50’s, expanding into 3 hair salons. This taught me that every problem has a solution, no matter how difficult it may seem in the moment, its only a stepping stool to the next level.
What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
One thing I changed my mind about after failing hard was that quitting isn’t option, pivoting is. At one point in my career, doors continued to close on me. I felt as if everything I was trying wasn’t going my way. It didn’t matter how hard I was working, the future did not look promising. I felt like a big failure and wanted to quit. And I did– or so I thought. I learned that quitting the old way of business wasn’t quitting, it was pivoting. I took what I already knew and turned into something new. Once I did this, business started flowing and growing. Today, it’s the best decision I ever made in my career.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Respect — both in and out of the kitchen. In my world, respect is a non-negotiable. Whether it’s respecting the ingredients we source, the homes were invited into, or the people we serve alongside — its foundation of everything we do at Miami Lux Experience. I come from a culture where food is love, service is an honor, and professionalism is a reflection of who you are. I protect that value fiercely, because when respect is present, excellence follows.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think many people will misunderstand just how hard the journey really was. From the outside, success can look effortless— elegant plating, luxury clients, beautiful homes. But what most won’t see is the grind it took to get here. The countless nights I barely slept, the seasons where money was inconsistent or nonexistent, the moments I questioned everything and came close to giving up. Building Miami Lux Experience wasnt a straight path — it was built on faith, sacrifice, and relentless persistence. My legacy may look polished, but it was forged in pressure, risk and resilience.
