Sam, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am currently building a life that I never had, one with healthy boundaries and realistic expectations. Allowing me to let in the joy of life.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a Miami native from immigrant Jamaican parents. I am the first gen of many accomplishments, but the one I am most proud of is my determination to create an ecosystem for women. As a serial entrepreneur, I have invested my time in ensuring they feel heard and seen. I started with my own podcast in 2020 as a way to share my story and be vulnerable. This has created a wave of connections and opportunities proving authenticity attracts!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was screaming at myself to have the courage to take the risk. Knowing that there was a chance of failure.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Always find a way to be grounded so you can get back up again.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes and its something I am the most proud of, especially being in Miami and having so many unrealistic expectations.

Taking the risks big or small, investing in myself no matter the season.
