Story & Lesson Highlights with Ricco Soares of Miami

We recently had the chance to connect with Ricco Soares and have shared our conversation below.

Ricco, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Absolutely. One of the moments that made me feel both proud and grateful was realizing how far my message has reached. Over the past year, millions of people have connected with my words and videos about faith, healing, and mental health. I often receive messages from people saying that a single phrase or video helped them find strength again, and that is the most fulfilling feeling in the world.

Another moment that made me laugh was during one of my film shoots. The set was full of energy, creativity, and unexpected improvisations. It reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place. Every project and every connection feel like a celebration of how far I have come and how beautiful it is to keep growing with purpose.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Ricco Soares. I am a Creative Director and author from Brazil, now based in Miami. I founded **RSoares Films**, a creative production company that brings stories to life through emotional and visually powerful projects, including music videos, commercials, and branded content. What makes my work unique is the way I combine emotion, purpose, and cinematic storytelling to create something that people truly connect with.

Over the past two years, I have released seven books focused on motivation, mental health, and faith. Each book reflects my journey of resilience and the belief that creativity can heal and transform lives. Through my work and social media platforms, I have been able to reach and inspire millions of people around the world.

This new phase of my career feels like a beautiful evolution. It unites everything I am passionate about: creativity, storytelling, and purpose. My mission is to use my art to touch lives and remind people that even the hardest stories can turn into something extraordinary.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that truly shaped how I see the world was leaving Brazil and starting my life from scratch in another country. I came from a very humble background, raised by a single mother in a favela in Rio de Janeiro, and moving abroad taught me the real meaning of faith, courage, and perseverance.

There were times when I had nothing but my vision and my belief that God had a purpose for me. That experience changed everything. It showed me that no matter where you start, you can create a new reality through hard work and faith. It also made me see people differently, with more compassion and understanding, because everyone is fighting their own battles.

That journey shaped not only my career as a Creative Director but also my mission to use art and storytelling to bring hope and light to others.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me things that success never could. It showed me who I truly am when everything feels uncertain. Pain taught me patience, humility, and the importance of faith when nothing seems to make sense.

When you go through difficult seasons, you realize that success is not about recognition or achievement; it is about resilience and the ability to keep believing even when the path feels dark. Suffering taught me empathy; it made me see people with softer eyes and a stronger heart.

Success can make you grateful, but suffering makes you grounded. It reminds you where you came from and helps you understand that true strength is built in silence, in the moments when no one is watching and you choose to keep going anyway.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, absolutely. The public version of me is the real me, just expressed through different forms of art and storytelling. What people see in my videos, books, and social media is a reflection of my real thoughts, emotions, and faith. I do not create to impress; I create to express.

Of course, I also keep sacred what needs to stay private. But everything I share comes from a genuine place, from my experiences, struggles, and growth. I believe authenticity is what connects people, and that is why I always choose to be real, even when it means showing my vulnerability.

The person behind the camera, the words, and the screen is the same one who prays, dreams, and keeps learning every day.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I am close to God and fully present in the moment. Whether I am creating something, writing, or simply watching the sunrise, that quiet connection reminds me that everything is exactly as it should be.

Peace for me is not the absence of noise; it is the presence of purpose. It is knowing that I am walking the path meant for me, even when I cannot see every step ahead. When I surrender my plans and trust that God is guiding me, that is when my heart truly rests.
