Story & Lesson Highlights with Jessica Kayy of Fort Lauderdale

We recently had the chance to connect with Jessica Kayy and have shared our conversation below.

Jessica, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
I always feel the most loved when I feel heard, just like everyone else. Sometimes just a real genuine “how are you?” feels so comforting. The kind of “how are you?” that almost stops time, when you can tell the person asking you has put aside any of their own world just to come to yours for a second. That’s connection. That’s love.

In a world of hustle and comparison, where we all seem to be living in the thrill of the chase, we so quickly lose sight of what’s important. And the whole point of it all is connection & love.

Truly, I believe everybody deserves to be heard. And if we took our time here, we could change the world.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
At 4 Life & Longevity, we provide the science, support, and accountability to help women optimize their health and build the body of their dreams. We’ve had the pleasure of working with thousands of women from all over the world and don’t intend on stopping anytime soon

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Honestly? The relationship with myself. I’ve spent a lot of time alone; at first, not by choice, until I intentionally started choosing to be alone. Solitude is beautiful because it allows space for you to be who you are at your core but pushes the hell out of you at the same time. Almost like saying “How strong are you, really?” It’s hard to be someone you’re not when you have nobody to prove anything to…and hard to play small when the only person you have to count on is you. I know who I am and what I’m capable of and wish this for every single woman out there.

When did you last change your mind about something important?
Oh my goodness, I am changing my mind REGULARLY! Part of growth is having an open mind. It’s important to be open to new ideas. I know that anybody who is closed off to the idea of changing their mind suffers. We must never stop learning and trying. A fixed mindset creates resistance and resistance creates discomfort.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
We never landed on the moon. Does that count? 😉

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
I don’t know how to tap dance but I have definitely been known to bounce around with excitement everytime a client reaches out with a win. Big OR small! Whether they had to buy a smaller pair of jeans, just crushed a job interview with confidence, had sex with their partner with the lights on for the first time in years, or spent an extra 20 minutes in the kitchen cooking themselves a healthy dinner, I live for these wins. Every single win is a step forward. It’s an unlocking of a greatness that’s been hidden for a while. I’ve been there and know just how powerful it feels. Every woman deserves to feel this
