Story & Lesson Highlights with Hunter Cambon of Lauderdale by the Sea

Hunter Cambon shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Hunter, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Bike rides down to the beach before or after work.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Hunter Cambon, Director of Marketing at Page One Digital, a performance-driven marketing agency based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We specialize in helping chiropractic practices and other local service businesses grow through smart digital advertising, SEO, and social media strategies.

What makes our approach unique is that we don’t just run ads. We engineer full acquisition systems built around clear ROI models, real data, and industry-specific insights. For example, we’ve developed highly refined ad budget and lead forecasting tools tailored for particular industries. These tools allow us to set realistic expectations and scale campaigns efficiently.

Our team is deeply embedded in the health & wellness world. We speak at major industry events, work with practices across the country, and understand the nuances between insurance-based and self-pay models, seasonal demand cycles, and patient lifetime value. This industry fluency allows us to craft campaigns that not only generate leads but also fill schedules with the right kinds of patients.

At the end of the day, what drives us is helping passionate business owners turn their online presence into a predictable, high-performing growth engine.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Likely when I first learned to sail. I was maybe 6 or 7. I had sailed with coaches, parents, and friends, but when I was able to go off on my own (even just through the canal systems of Fort Lauderdale), I really felt a sense of freedom and power.

Is there something you miss that no one else knows about?
Yes. I miss autumn Sundays as a kid around my childhood home. My dad would spend the day cooking gumbo, my mom would be working in the garden, I would be playing with friends or working on the boat, and Saints football would be on in the background. The house would be open, so the breeze would work its way through the kitchen barn door and out to the backyard.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
Aliens exist.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Pulling the weeds in the garden.
