Hi Daiane, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m chasing more than just closings. I’m chasing the feeling my clients get when they walk into their dream home, the relief of a family selling with confidence, and the freedom real estate creates for people’s futures.
If I stopped, families would still need guidance, homes would still need to be sold, and dreams would still be waiting for someone to make them possible. That’s why I keep going because every home I help close changes a story, not just an address.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Daiane Ortiz, and I’m proud to be a top real estate agent in Florida, specializing in helping families buy and sell homes with confidence. I’m fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, which allows me to connect with and serve a diverse community. In addition to real estate, I’m also a Notary Public, making the process even smoother for my clients.
Beyond my career, I’m a wife and proud mom of three boys. My family is my biggest inspiration and a daily reminder of why “home” matters so much. My mission is to turn one of life’s biggest decisions into an exciting, stress-free, and memorable journey for every client I work with.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed that success and confidence were things you were born with that some people just had it, and others didn’t. I didn’t realize that hard work, perseverance, and learning from every experience could shape me into the person I am today.
Now, I know that I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to whether it’s becoming a top real estate agent, helping families find their dream homes, or balancing a career with being a wife and mom of three boys. That belief in growth and possibility has been life-changing, both personally and professionally.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there was a time early in my career when I almost gave up. I faced challenges tough listings, deals that fell through, and the pressure of building a reputation in a competitive market. It felt overwhelming at times, and I questioned whether I could really succeed.
But I remembered why I started: to help families find their dream homes, to make selling stress-free, and to turn every closing into a celebration. Leaning on that purposeand the support of my family gave me the strength to keep going. Today, those challenges are what shaped me into a top agent, notary, and someone my clients can truly trust.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is a part of who I am, but not all of me. People see the confident, organized, and dedicated realtor someone who helps families buy and sell homes with ease. But behind the scenes, I’m also a wife, mom of three boys, and someone who faces challenges, doubts, and growth just like everyone else.
Being public in real estate means showing trust and professionalism, but I’ve learned that authenticity matters most. The real me is the blend of both: someone passionate about helping others while still growing and learning every day.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had only 10 years left, the first thing I’d stop doing is wasting time on doubt, stress, or things that don’t truly matter. Life and real estate are full of distractions endless comparisons, unnecessary worry, and perfectionism. I’d focus only on what brings meaning, joy, and impact: helping families find their dream homes, spending quality time with my three boys and my husband, and growing in ways that truly matter.
Every moment counts, and I’d make sure my energy went toward what leaves a lasting mark both in my career and in my family’s life.
