Good morning Brenda , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Pursuing my music career outside of my job as a substitute teacher
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Greetings my name is Brenda Chin well known as Miami’s Newest R&B Neo-Soul Artist that just hit the music scene .I am officially signed to Oceanfront Record Label In California since late January 2025 working with the CEO/Producer Douglas Hardin ( Blaque Beethoven). I was also known as the lead singer for the band Midnite Mocean out of Miami Gardens FL ( under the Seymour brothers) whom I started with since early January 2024 & is currently still active whenever I have the time to come together and perform for future events and paid gigs etc. I am a singer/songwriter that has just released my first new Hit single ” KandyLand” on all platforms for all the lovers and couples and will soon be releasing a second single entitled ” Attitude ” for all Women who have or may have been victims of Domestic Violence which will definitely be a hot anthem for the ladies. I have completed my first album this year end of April with Blaque Beethoven and look forward to completing few more in the studio. My music and songs are all based on my own life’s experiences and past relationships which I feel will be very inspiring and touching because I know Alot of fans will be able to relate ( especially women) . In Life I feel we all have a story to tell and there’s so many ways our stories can be told whether thru music, art, books, poetry, dancing, etc My goal as an Artist is to be different, unique, and creative in my own way so that I can motivate others and show them that you can be anything you want to be in life as long as your willing to put in the hard work, determination dedication, and perseverance with God all things are possible no matter how hard life seems to get there’s always a way out of your struggles and being that I’m a young woman that came out the hood or ghetto some like to call it I am living proof that even something GOOD can come out the HOOD!

My Personal Relationship With God Almighty The Creator, My Heavenly Father, My Everything he has allowed me to see myself as one of his special anointed seed. I am made in his image and he has opened my eyes to see myself as the Strong, Powerful, Courageous woman that I am
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stop hiding my pain and start using it as power when I finally decided to forgive myself of all my mistakes/bad choices and let go all of my hurt from past broken relationships and holding on to broken promises I had to Free myself of these things because it was gonna destroy me mentally, emotionally and physically. Forgiving Me & Letting Go of the Past is the BEST Feeling Ever

No! Lady Chin & Brenda are 2 different people lol… which I honestly think everyone has 2 sides to them.. there’s a certain way you present yourself in the public eye and there’s a certain way you can be your natural self behind closed doors with family and loved ones.
