We recently had the chance to connect with Samantha Caprio-Negret and have shared our conversation below.
Samantha , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
For me, it would always be “integrity”. Being impeccable with your word. Doing what you say your’e going to do equates to trust and reliability. Your reputation proceeds you. So, I honor being true to my word, and being a woman with integrity, As a matter of fact, it’s one of my life theme’s — people born on the 24th day are people who abide by it. I am September 24th, also a Libra, and a very loyal Zodiac sign, so our word and loyalty go hand-in-hand. It’s in our numerology charts. It’s also part of the legacy I care to leave behind. Not doing what you say you’re going to do and being known for that equates to a flakiness quality, and who wants to be remembered as a flake? Not me.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I’m not sure if it was one exact moment, but when I was a child, I just believed in myself and the supernatural, an afterlife, imaginary worlds, different realms, and mystical and mythical creatures. I never questioned any of it. I never questioned my true essence — that I was a child of the highest God — and I believed in angels and spirit guides. I always knew there was something bigger than myself that existed. Anything I wanted, I never questioned if I could get it — I just manifested it always. I also never thought about its timing, I just knew it would come. I never doubted myself or my desires or if I was being guided. I just was. I didn’t ask if I was good enough for it, smart enough, pretty enough, skinny enough, etc…I just knew I was. I never even thought about it. And my imagination was wild! That alone was enough. I didn’t care what anyone thought. It was good enough for me, It was enough to create anything I wanted. I had the happiest childhood! And it’s not that I don’t believe in those things anymore, it’s more or less that self-doubt crept in. You become jaded from life, due to betrayals, loss, struggles, and the hustle. So, it’s not that I don’t believe I can have anything I want anymore, it’s that I allowed it in more when I was a child. I didn’t question myself or God or others. Now, I do. So, I have built more of a resistance around manifestation. That’s always a work-in-progress! And even though I work on getting back into alignment with my true being, it’s constantly shifting. I miss that innocence — that level of freedom and peace — that level of utter play and imagination before anyone else ruined it for me, by telling me “no” or “it doesn’t exist” or “how hard it would to get or keep!’ I wish that bliss could always stay with us even through adulthood.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Through the 15 plus years I’ve been writing, I used to question a lot of the non-fictional, inspirational quotes, and blogs that I wrote about through my pain, struggles, or challenges. I would either feel like someone would view me as a victim, a failure, or even maybe judge me. But as time went on, I shared anyway and stopped caring what others thought, because I shifted my mindset from it being about me, and used it as a tool to help or inspire others. By them reading my truths and vulnerabilities, it helps them to get through their own. If it could help, inspire, or change someone else for the better than it was worth sharing my pain. If they feel a little less alone by reading mine, then I’ve done my job. If they’re able to hang on another day and not lose the belief in themselves, then I’ve succeeded. My message through my writing and storytelling is my purpose.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
What I believe is true but cannot prove is absolutely an afterlife — a heaven of some sort. That Earth is not our true home. We are only going through Earth school and our souls chose to come here to evolve. That we go back home — to an afterlife — and that’s eternal. We see and reunite with loved ones lost and get to review our lives like watching a movie. No one judges us but ourselves. We feel every good or bad deed we ever caused, and that’s the karmic energy we feel. We can choose to come back and be reincarnated as a good or bad character, just like playing a role as an actor, depending on what kind of experience we want. We chose our lives, destiny, soul’s purpose and parents. Every character serves its purpose — you can’t get it right or wrong and we never get it done. It’s just learning and growth. It never ends. There is no time. Because being human is temporary. “We are spiritual beings having a human experience, not human beings having a spiritual experience.”
I have read and studied hundreds of NDE’s (near death experiences), so a lot of my beliefs come from real-life accounts of people who have claimed to have died and come back. I can’t prove it, just like they can’t, but I whole-heartedly believe with everything I am. It’s just this knowing. And if I’m wrong, then I’m wrong. I won’t know until I pass away anyway, and that’s gonna come irregardless. So, who cares either way what you believe? It should be a fun, joyful game! Just don’t hurt anyone else — only love and kindness. Because love is all that matters. It’s the only thing we take with us when we go. I’m not saying don’t make mistakes along the way! Of course you will, you’re human and meant to. I’m saying don’t beat yourself and others up about those mistakes. Forgiveness is key.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope that when I’m gone…my stories, messages, words, creativity, and perseverance inspire others. Whether it’s to never give up on their own dreams, or whether it’s one of my stories changed their life, then my passion and purpose were served and fulfilled! And when I do arrive at the pearly gates of heaven I can say, “I did my job well done,” with pride!
