Robyn Cifuentes of Boca Raton on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Robyn Cifuentes shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Robyn, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are my favorite little ritual. I start by making my coffee and mixing in collagen peptides, then I take my supplements. From there, I ease into the day with about 45 minutes of working on a puzzle while listening to a podcast—it’s such a grounding way to wake up my brain. The best part, though, is waking up my son—that’s my pride and joy every single morning. After getting him ready for school, I head out, either to see clients or to the gym depending on the day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Robyn, a yoga teacher, mom, and wellness creator based in South Florida. Through my platform @robynlovesu, I share the real, everyday balance of motherhood, movement, and mindfulness. I love making wellness feel approachable and fun, and I’m passionate about building community—whether that’s through yoga, brand collaborations with companies like Lululemon and Raw Juce, or hosting events that bring people together.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Disconnection happens when we stop listening. Connection is restored when we show up with presence, empathy, and love.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me how to sit with myself in the hardest moments, how to surrender control, and how to truly value joy when it arrives. It gave me empathy for others in a way success never could, and reminded me that growth often blooms in the places we once thought we’d never make it through.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say what really matters to me is love—love for my family, my community, and the way I show up in the world. They’d also say I care deeply about creating connection, finding balance, and making the people around me feel seen and supported.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, my students would definitely miss my hands-on adjustments in class—the little details that help them feel more open, grounded, and supported. Beyond that, I think they’d miss the energy, community, and heart I bring into the room every time we practice together.
