Rising Stars: Meet Yael Emano of bay harbor islands

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yael Emano.

Hi yael, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve loved skincare my whole life, and that passion led me back to school in 2003, where I began my journey to become a licensed esthetician. In 2008, I had the privilege of starting my career alongside board-certified dermatologist Dr. Martin Zaiac, gaining invaluable experience in medical aesthetics and advanced skin treatments.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey in aesthetics has been a smooth road, because when you do what you love, it never feels like work. Of course, there were a few bumps along the way—especially learning to work with different personalities—but every experience has shaped me into the professional I am today and deepened my love for this industry.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a licensed esthetician specializing in skin health and beauty. Over the years, I’ve found that clients come to me not only for treatments, but also for my perspective on surgeons, the latest products, and the ever-evolving beauty landscape. I like to think of myself as a “beauty broker”, a trusted resource for all things skin and aesthetics.

I’m proud of my experience and my genuine love for this industry. I’m not here to upsell every service or product my spa offers. Instead, I focus on results-driven treatments, preventative care, and helping clients achieve natural, lasting confidence without overdoing it.

What matters most to you? Why?
What fulfills me most is seeing clients who feel happy and confident in their skin. I’m the kind of esthetician who personally checks in with clients after their treatments because I truly care about every individual I work with. My goal is to build relationships, not transactions, helping each client feel supported, understood, and cared for every step of the way.
