Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been far from smooth — but every challenge has carried meaning and purpose. Building a business rooted in creativity, faith, and family takes endurance, humility, and trust, especially in the seasons when things felt uncertain. There were years of sacrifice, late nights editing, financial hurdles, and the constant effort to balance the demands of business with the needs of family life.
One of the greatest blessings through it all has been our family. Our children have grown up alongside this business — many of them now working with us, contributing their own gifts and creativity. What started as a dream has become a true family mission. Every shoot, every wedding, every client interaction is touched by the hands and hearts of the people we love most.
Like most small business owners, we’ve faced moments when it would have been easier to give up. But quitting was never an option. Through prayer, persistence, and complete trust in God’s timing, every obstacle became an opportunity to grow stronger — both as a family and as a company.
Looking back, we can see how God has been faithful every step of the way. He’s guided our path, refined our purpose, and taught us that the beauty of the journey isn’t found in perfection — it’s found in perseverance, faith, and the people you walk beside. The road may not have been smooth, but it has been absolutely worth every step.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
One of the things that really set us apart is that we’re a family-based company and we have seven kids. All of our kids want to work in the company, right now we have three of our kids plus our daughter-in-law working full-time for the company and it is absolutely amazing. And we also have our other team who has been a part of our lives for over 10 years and is like family as well.
