Rising Stars: Meet Stephany Diaz of CORAL GABLES

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephany Diaz.

Stephany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my career in medical aesthetics with a strong focus on understanding the face before ever touching a syringe. Early on, I realized that injecting well isn’t just about product placement — it’s about assessment, structure, and understanding how small changes affect the entire face.

As I developed my skills as an injector, I became very focused on education and technique. I spent a lot of time studying facial anatomy, refining my consultation process, and building a framework for how I evaluate patients so that treatments look balanced, natural, and intentional rather than overdone.

Over time, that philosophy became the foundation of my practice. I built The Plump Room around the idea that aesthetic medicine should be thoughtful, structured, and patient-specific. Every face is different, so the treatment plan should be as well.

As my clinical experience grew, I also started sharing more of what I had learned with other injectors. I realized that many complications and cases of overcorrection weren’t due to lack of talent — they were due to lack of structured assessment and decision-making.

Today my work is split between treating patients and educating other providers. My goal is always the same in both settings: helping people understand the face better so that results look natural, balanced, and long-lasting.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Aesthetic medicine is a very competitive industry, and early on one of the biggest challenges was learning to trust my own clinical judgment while I was still developing my experience.

In the beginning there’s a lot of pressure to follow trends or to practice the way you see others practicing. Over time I realized that the best results come from slowing down, focusing on assessment, and developing your own structured approach to treating the face.

Another challenge was building something that truly reflected my philosophy. Creating The Plump Room meant being very intentional about the type of practice I wanted to build — one that prioritizes thoughtful consultations, natural results, and patient education rather than quick or overdone treatments.

There are always challenges when you’re building something in a fast-growing industry, but those experiences ultimately helped me become more confident in my clinical decision-making and clearer about the kind of provider and mentor I want to be.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an aesthetic injector and the founder of The Plump Room, a practice built around thoughtful, individualized aesthetic treatments. My work focuses primarily on injectable treatments and skin therapies that enhance natural facial structure rather than dramatically changing it.

What I specialize in most is facial assessment and treatment planning. Before injecting, I spend a lot of time evaluating the face as a whole — looking at structure, balance, movement, and how different areas interact with each other. That approach helps ensure that treatments look harmonious and natural rather than overfilled or overcorrected.

Over time, that philosophy has also become something I’m known for within the injector community. I spend a lot of time educating other providers on how to improve their assessment process and how to make more intentional treatment decisions.

What I’m most proud of is being able to build a practice and a reputation around that approach. In an industry where trends can sometimes move quickly, I’ve always tried to stay focused on structure, anatomy, and long-term outcomes for patients.

What sets me apart is really the emphasis I place on assessment and restraint. The goal isn’t to do more — it’s to do what’s appropriate for that specific face. When treatment is done thoughtfully, the results tend to look effortless, which is ultimately what most patients are looking for.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
There are a few tools and resources that really help me stay organized and continue growing, both in my business and personally.

On the practical side, I rely a lot on apps like QuickBooks to keep the financial side of the business organized, Canva for creating educational and marketing content, and a teleprompter app when I’m recording educational videos or speaking content so I can stay clear and structured in my messaging.

I also listen to a lot of podcasts, especially ones focused on mindset, leadership, and personal development. Two that I really enjoy are Ed Mylett and Bedros Keuilian. I appreciate their perspective on discipline, entrepreneurship, and building something meaningful over the long term.

Overall, I try to stay intentional about both sides of growth — continuing to refine the clinical side of what I do while also developing as a business owner and leader.
