Rising Stars: Meet Stacey Feldman of Miami / South Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Feldman.

Hi Stacey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my business, Peacock Marketing Group LLC, in 2008, originally with the intention of focusing on marketing through events. My first event was planning and designing the 15th Anniversary Celebration for Slip-N-Slide Records, followed by the grand opening of David Barton Gym at the Gansevoort. From there came an anniversary party, a quinceañera, and then a wedding… followed by another wedding, and another.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that weddings and milestone celebrations were where my passion truly was. I loved being part of these incredibly meaningful moments in people’s lives—the creativity, the details, the relationships, and especially the opportunity to turn a client’s vision into an experience they and their guests would never forget. And that’s how Peacock Premier Events was born.

Eighteen years later, weddings remain the heart of my business. I still plan the occasional corporate event, Mitzvah, milestone birthday, anniversary, or other special celebration, but the majority of my work is weddings—and I absolutely love what I do.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to plan and design weddings and events throughout the United States and internationally. As rewarding as it is to see a beautiful event come together, what has meant the most to me are the relationships I’ve built along the way. Many of my clients have become friends and, in some cases, truly feel like family.

I’m incredibly fortunate that so many clients come back to me for the next milestone in their lives. I’ve planned weddings for multiple children within the same family, then been asked back for Mitzvahs, anniversaries, birthdays, holiday celebrations, and other special occasions. I even have clients for whom I’ve planned as many as 11 events. To me, there is no greater compliment than being invited back into a family’s life, year after year, celebration after celebration.

After 18 years, I still consider it an honor and a privilege every time someone trusts me with one of the most important days of their life. My goal has always been about more than creating a beautiful event. I want my clients to enjoy the journey—to have a planning experience that is fun, personal, and memorable—and ultimately to create a wedding weekend or celebration that feels uniquely theirs and is truly unforgettable.

What started as a marketing company focused on events ultimately became something much more meaningful: a career built around celebrating people, relationships, families, and some of life’s most extraordinary moments. And I feel incredibly fortunate that, all these years later, I still genuinely love what I do.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Anyone who says planning and designing weddings and events is easy most likely is very inexperienced. There is an incredible amount of effort that goes into creating not only an unforgettable wedding or event, but also an enjoyable, seamless experience for the clients leading up to it.

I always joke that as a full-service wedding planner and designer, I wear more hats than I can count. At any given moment, I’m my clients’ guide, camp counselor, friend, therapist, confidante, designer, voice of reason, comedian, accountant, bookkeeper, fashion consultant, concierge—and, quite often, a human fire extinguisher.

One of the biggest lessons I learned early on was that exceptional event planning is about so much more than what happens on the actual day. You’re being trusted with one of the most meaningful and monumental celebrations in someone’s life, and with that comes an enormous amount of responsibility. Clients need someone who can anticipate problems before they happen, manage countless personalities and moving parts, protect their vision and investment, and remain calm when something inevitably doesn’t go according to plan.

Specializing in luxury weddings and events adds another layer. These celebrations are often incredibly detailed and complex, with very specific needs, expectations, logistics, and levels of personalization. The challenge has always been finding the balance between managing all of those details behind the scenes while making the experience feel effortless for my clients.

That realization shaped the way I built my business. I made a conscious decision that I never wanted to become a high-volume company where clients felt like a number. I wanted to remain personally invested and accessible and be able to give each client the level of care, service, creativity, and time that I believe they deserve. That’s why, even after 18 years, I typically take on a maximum of only 10–12 weddings and events per year.

So no, it hasn’t always been a smooth or easy road—but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. The challenges have helped define the kind of planner I am today. My job is to absorb the stress, solve the problems, manage the unexpected, and handle the hundreds or thousands of details behind the scenes so that, for my clients, it does feel like a smooth road. 18 years later I’m still have a great passion for what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Peacock Premier Events, I specialize in full-service luxury wedding and event planning and design, but what I really do is create celebrations that feel deeply personal to the people at the center of them.

My motto has always been “Stand Out From the Crowd,” and that philosophy is at the heart of everything I create. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter weddings or simply recreating something because it’s beautiful or trending. Every couple, every family, and every person being celebrated has their own personality, story, style, and energy—and I believe their event should reflect that. When guests walk into a wedding or celebration I’ve created, I want them to immediately think, “This is so them.”

I put my love into the details. I’m incredibly hands-on and creative, and I genuinely care about every event as though it were my own. Whether it’s a major design element or a tiny personalized detail that only the couple and their closest family might recognize, those are often the touches that make an event truly special. Luxury to me isn’t simply about how much you spend—it’s about thoughtfulness, creativity, personalization, exceptional service, and creating an experience people will remember long after the last song is played.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to successfully plan and curate weddings and events in different states and internationally, each with its own challenges, logistics, cultures, venues, and personalities. I love taking all of those elements and weaving them together into something cohesive, beautiful, unexpected, and unforgettable.

But what I’m most proud of isn’t a particular wedding, destination, design, or accomplishment. It’s the relationships I’ve built over the years. When a client trusts you enough to bring you back for another child’s wedding, a milestone birthday, an anniversary, or the next important chapter in their family’s life, that means more to me than any accolade ever could. Many of those relationships have grown far beyond planner and client, and that is something I’m incredibly proud of.

I think what ultimately sets me apart is how personally invested I become. I’m not just planning an event—I’m getting to know the people I’m planning it for. I listen, I pay attention, I learn what matters to them, and then I use my creativity and experience to bring those details to life in ways they may never have imagined.

Every client is unique, so every celebration should be unique. My goal is always the same: stand out from the crowd, create something that authentically represents the people being celebrated, and make it every bit as unforgettable as they are.
