Rising Stars: Meet Silent Addy of Miami / South Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Silent Addy.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I think the biggest reason I’m where I am today is consistency. I’ve always had a vision for what I wanted to build, and I stayed committed to it. Along the way, I started different projects and brands.. ome worked, some didn’t.. but every experience taught me something. I kept learning, adapting, and showing up, and over time those small efforts added up to where I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely wasn’t a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change anything. A lot of what I know today came from trial and error. There were setbacks, mistakes, and moments where things didn’t go as planned, but each one taught me something valuable.

The biggest challenge was learning as I went.. whether that was dealing with people, building businesses, or navigating the music industry. Every obstacle became a lesson, and those lessons helped me get to where I am today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I wear a few different hats, but most people know me as a DJ, producer, and the founder of Bashment. Over the years, I’ve built a career around curating experiences through music, whether that’s DJing events, producing records, or creating cultural events that bring people together.

I’m also a creative director and entrepreneur. Through Bashment, I’ve expanded beyond events into music, media, and apparel. What I’m most proud of is being able to build something that started as an idea and turn it into a recognized brand and community.

What sets me apart is my ability to see the bigger picture. I’m a visionary at heart.. I can often see where something can go before it gets there, and then work backwards to bring that vision to life. Whether it’s a song, an event, or a brand, I enjoy creating things that connect with people and leave a lasting impact.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories was going to Disney World with my mom. As a kid, it always felt magical, and I’ve always loved how much attention Disney puts into every detail.. from the rides and storytelling to the overall experience.

Looking back, I think those trips influenced the way I think about creativity, branding, and creating memorable experiences for people. Now that I’m a father, I’ve already had the chance to take my son to Disney. I’m looking forward to creating many more memories there with him as he grows up.
