Today we’d like to introduce you to Rich Lacroix.
Hi Rich, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Rich Lacroix i was born in HAITI raised here in america since i was at the age of 9.
I grew up around church my entire life, always singing in the church choir so naturally i grew the love for the music.
when i lived in haiti i used to travel back in forth to DR (dominican republic) every other year with my family so i got a little bit of taste from their culture and their music.
although i was around music my entire life i didn’t start writing and creating my own music until i was at the age of 21-22.
i fell in love with the craft and the idea of being able to use it as a tool or a safe place where i can talk about the things that i go through and at the same time being able to share my story to the world.
and now i can’t wait till the world heres my music.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
definitely not a smooth road just like everything in life theres ups and downs but i always made it through.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I write music for alot of people and now i have decided to follow my own path and put my work out there.
I am known for my music.
most proud of who i am as a person which is why people are gravitated towards me and my music.
my talent sets me apart from others what others struggle with comes to me easily and effortlessly.
