Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyndall Vickers
Hi Lyndall, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The origins of Beach Strings started by me teaching guitar in the community by doing group lessons for churches and non-profits. One weekend I decided to take my students to play guitar at the beach which was an amazing experience. Then I began to wonder is there anyone who is teaching guitar at the beach? As I begun to do my research I realized combining music and nature is a surreal and therapeutic experience. Embracing the holistic approach is one of the main values of Beach Strings. It blends the beauty of the beach with the art of learning guitar. Located on Miami’s vibrant shores, we offer an experience like no other – a combination of inspiration, relaxation, and creativity through music. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned player, you’ll find your rhythm with us.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the hardest things is actually getting people to the beach which is ironic living in South Florida. As a solution Beach Strings host local jam sessions on the beach to provide community and to market by provide lessons for those who are interested. Having a social media presence is crucial for today’s world so you will find us on every platform inspiring and encouraging Floridians to learn guitar at the beach.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Jam session is the best form of network for any musician. Music is a language in itself. When you are able to communicate with someone who understands it creates chemistry and allows you to exercise your creative muscles.
If you want to push yourself as an artist do a jam session and you will start thinking outside the box.
