Hi Hadassah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
BeeArt Greenwall Expert Corp was founded in 2017 by my father, Romulo Mattos, with a vision to bring greenery back into our concrete world — improving air quality, enhancing aesthetics, and reconnecting people with nature through living art. I joined BeeArt a few years later, after earning a double major in Economics and Business Administration, becoming a CPA with a focus in managerial accounting, and working in the art industry as a managerial accountant and logistics lead. When my father asked me to join the team, it felt like the perfect blend of my business background and our shared passion for design and the environment. My father taught me to appreciate greenery and to see that while landscaping and interior design are both beautiful, greenwalls uniquely combine art, sustainability, and impact. At BeeArt, we specialize in living and preserved greenwalls, artificial foliage, and container plants — always focusing on craftsmanship, innovation, and environmental responsibility. Every project we complete, whether 40 or 4,500 square feet, is a milestone to us. We take pride in treating each client and space with the same level of care and creativity. Our mission is simple: to create living statements that elevate spaces while promoting sustainability, beauty, and well-being.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been smooth, especially as we expanded from Boca Raton to the West Coast of Florida. Maintaining living greenwalls requires bi-weekly service, so scaling our team to cover Naples in 2020 was a logistical challenge. Now, as we grow into Punta Gorda, Siesta Key, and Sarasota, we’re growing our in-house maintenance teams to ensure consistent quality rather than relying on third parties.
Having family involved has made those challenges easier to navigate. it creates a strong support system and a shared sense of purpose that keeps us grounded through growth.

At BeeArt Greenwall Expert Corp, we specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining custom greenwall systems that bring life and beauty to any space. While we’re best known for our Living Greenwalls, our work also includes Preserved Moss Walls, Artificial Greenwalls, and Plants in Containers for offices, hotels, and residences.
We take pride in working closely with architects, builders, designers, and homeowners to create sustainable, aesthetically striking designs. What sets BeeArt apart is our commitment to quality and longevity from concept and installation to ongoing bi-weekly maintenance. What matters most to me is improving people’s quality of life through the spaces we create. I’ve seen firsthand how greenery can completely transform an environment, not just visually, but emotionally. When we install a living greenwall, we’re not just adding plants to a wall; we’re introducing cleaner air, a sense of calm, and a natural beauty that uplifts everyone around it.
There’s something deeply rewarding about knowing our work can bring both health benefits and design joy to homes, offices, and public spaces. That balance between functionality and beauty, where nature meets design, is what inspires me every day.

- Preserved Moss Walls are priced at $125 per square foot
- Artificial Greenwalls are Priced at $35-55 per square foot
