Today we’d like to introduce you to Giovanni Kirkland.
Hi Giovanni, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Hi! My name is Giovanni. I am a model and actress living in Miami. When I was seven, my parents took me to see “The Phantom of the Opera” and from that moment I fell in love with theater. After graduating high school, I enrolled in a college of performing arts to pursue my passion. The experience and instruction I received equipped me with the confidence to begin auditioning for various small and local roles.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to success is not an easy path, but there is much to learn from every experience whether good or bad. Adversity breeds character so I appreciate the challenges as much as the successes. I truly believe that anything is achievable through hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

While my passion is performing arts, I have had the pleasure of using my talents in multiple areas. I love challenging myself and the challenge of pushing myself to be the best is what made me fall in love with bikini competitions. I have also enjoyed being a ring girl at UFC fights, doing bikini modeling and my most recent endeavor is pageantry. A highlight of my career was being a bathing girl in “Coming 2 America,” it was an unforgettable and amazing experience. I am proud of all that I have accomplished and most important, of the woman I have become throughout my experiences. No matter how big or small, I am humbled and grateful for every opportunity. I am excited to continue achieving my goals and pursuing my dreams.
