Hi Dricka, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story is a none other Cinderella fairy tale about a girl who’s been on a journey of self-realization. A journey of where she had, is & continues to alchemize the bad hand of cards dealt to her. This wasn’t just any bad hand of cards though. This bad hand of cards dealt to her was pulled directly from the deck of divine souls’ purpose. Her journey has required her to discover the free spirit within herself & her divine gifted talents, abilities & powers assigned to it.
The rough conditions of her environment & traumatizing experiences molded her & hardwired her subconscious program. But her unyielded free consciousness & intuitive nature maintained her leader of operations helping her unlearn & relearn new ways of being in her earthly existence. She’s the phoenix that is rising from the ashes. She’s the magician of her life.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life may appear smooth to some however, there are those of us where our divine purposes require a bumpier road. This isn’t to say that not everyone has a divine purpose because we all do. The matter of this statement is that not everyone accepts the calling from the divine for them to walk that required path to fulfill their purpose. It’s scary. It’s unpredictable. It’s unstable. It’s of the unknown.
This is the road that requires you to be a fool because you’re going against the grain of what’s considered “normal”. A lot of my struggles were endured in both my personal life & professional life which primarily consisted of being ostracized, criticized, belittled, taken advantage of, made inferior, etc. The negative forces in both areas of my life have the greatest lesson of them all which is to transmute the energy to work in my favor.
It’s a form of manipulation, but a manipulation of energy. Life is meant to be hard, ugly, & brutal. But it’s how we choose to experience it. I chose to & will continue to choose to be aware of the coldness of the world but I will refuse to allow it to succumb to me & my experience in it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I hold dear to my establishment as an Artist & Thriving Entrepreneur. I am still utilizing my professional experience in the workforce to help me develop new realms of knowledge, skills & abilities in addition to enhancing previously accumulated knowledge & skills all for the continuation of mastering my talents & abilities as a young professional leader.
My ability to maintain a connection with my inner child strengthens the artist in me, which is what most people may know me for. My artistic hand for drawing & eye for fashion. I have transformed myself so many times over the past years & that is what sets me apart. No matter how many times I fall in life, I get back up, dust myself off & reinvent myself.
Engineering myself in ways with a strategic approach in ways that most will question, “How?”. As of Thanksgiving 2023, I felt guided to launch my podcast, which was generated as an idea in 2021. It has recently been my greatest accomplishment that I am very proud of.
The fear of being judged for utilizing my voice in such a creative & productive manner speaking about a subject that many often demonize & may not understand had to be released. It is entitled, “Vision It With Dricka Necole”, & it is a self-help guide & safe haven that allows all discussions of life that pertain to the evolution of us humans as spiritual beings for us to challenge our internal & external attributes as means of navigating through life as our most authentic selves. Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I am all for taking risks. Some would even consider me a daredevil. This is has remained since a child. I was the kid that you told not to push the red button who would push it out of curiosity. Evolving, learning, and maturing over time I learned that some risks have to be very calculated.
When you’re a risk-taker this usually means that you are impulsive, in which I can be & have seen what consequences my impulsive tendencies have reaped me. I’m also action-oriented so, I’m all for going all the way in when I’m truly passionate. However, learning to slow down every now & then and be mindful of what it is you may be willing to take a risk on is imperative.
Being a strategist, which is a major strength of mine, will be required when taking calculated risks. We take risks all the time regardless of how we realize it. Investing in relationships/connections whether financially or just emotionally is risky as well as potentially walking away from them.
Launching projects/ventures are risks, as well as potentially taking a step back from them. Energy is the biggest risk we take & how we choose to invest it and spend it will result in certain outcomes of transactions. Risks are major parts of enduring life.
