Rising Stars: Meet Amber Lopes of West Palm Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Lopes.

Hi Amber, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Loveleigh Sips began during a period of transition for our family, when my husband retired from his 12-year professional baseball career. As a stay-at-home mom of two, I found myself navigating this major life change alongside him. During that time, we felt that starting a small business could not only provide extra support, but also serve as a creative outlet.
Before this, I worked in the fashion industry, a career I stepped away from to travel with my husband as he pursued his dream—an experience I’ll always value. Now that we’ve settled in South Florida as our permanent home, it felt like the right moment to put down roots, connect with our community, and begin this new chapter.

With that, Loveleigh Sips was created with community in mind, and with a deep love for romanticizing the little moments in life. For me, one of my favorite things is hosting family & friends, gathering around the table, playing games, and sipping on something special I’ve made. That’s my love language, turning an ordinary drink into something thoughtful, beautiful, and memorable. Because there is a world of difference between holding a can of Soda and sipping on a hand-muddled cherry limeade, one feels simple, the other feels like luxe in a glass.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve always leaned more toward the creative side than the business side, so stepping into the less glamorous parts of running a business has definitely been an adjustment, especially after spending the past five years as a stay-at-home mom.

There was also a time when I felt pressure to shift toward large weddings and high guest-count events, since that’s typically where mobile bars generate the most income. But it never truly felt like the right fit for me. I’m drawn to slower, more intimate gatherings where genuine conversations happen and I can connect with guests. The drinks I create are thoughtfully crafted, often with more than four ingredients, and I take pride in both their quality and presentation. In fast-paced environments, that level of care often goes unnoticed and that didn’t align with what I love most about this work.
Finding peace in my niche has been important to me. I’ve chosen to focus on the kinds of events that feel authentic to my style, and I’m happy to leave the large-scale celebrations to bartenders who thrive in that space.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in intimate gatherings, baby showers, bridal showers, and celebrations where the smallest details make the biggest impact. From handcrafted drinks to thoughtfully styled setups, everything is designed to feel as special as the moment itself.

One of our most loved offerings is our seasonal mocktails. Guests are always excited to see options that go beyond overly sweet, one-note drinks. Everyone deserves something beautiful and intentional to sip on. A signature touch I love adding is a delicate chamomile flower on top of each drink, bringing a soft, feminine charm to every cup.
