Natalia Grozina of Boca Raton on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Natalia Grozina and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalia, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity. Energy can be destructive and intelligence can be misdirected — integrity is integrity.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Natalia Grozina, Founder of Grozina, is a globally recognized communications leader recognized for driving sustainable growth across industries. From crisis communications during the Russia-Ukraine conflict to advancing Caribbean recycling initiatives and supporting COVID-19 vaccine development, her work delivers lasting impact for businesses and communities worldwide.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
For me — dishonesty breaks bonds and honesty alone does not fix them, but compassion — remembering the humanity of the other, even when hurt, helps restore bonds that were broken.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I almost give up every day. Running a business is not easy. Relationships are not easy. Life in general is not easy, there are always obstacles to overcome. You just have to keep going, and giving up is not an option. That is up to God to decide when your time is over.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
I think right now people are having a hard time with adapting to AI. There is a perception that AI will make people obsolete. I think that AI amplifies the value of people who know how to use it wisely – whether it’s marketing or public relations (my industry) or others. The future belongs to those who can balance technology with humanity.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Honestly, I’d probably spend less time working and more time doing something like gardening. I keep telling myself that I will do it, but I always end up working on something else.
