We’re looking forward to introducing you to Milan Vracaric. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Milan, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Prayer (gratitude and goal oriented affirmations and incantations), Breathwork and meditation. Once a week I do an ice bath as well, and 3 times per week I do my regular workout regime, that is around 2 and a half hours long.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a spiritual guide: I help successful entrepreneurs and businessmen/women achieve peace and contentment. 9 years ago I moved to Miami and went through a radical health transformation: I quit nightlife, drinking alcohol and cigarettes, through incorporating practices like breathwork, fasting, prayer, yoga and meditation. I also dropped 30 pounds. Ever since I have been disciplined with my daily holistic health practices.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I cant have it all. Life is exactly what you think it is. We are limitless. Whether you think you can or cannot do something, you are right either way.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
It is ok to feel sad, angry and/or confused. You are doing your best, and even this is sometimes not enough. Please accept this, and know that it is ok to cry. However, you owe it to yourself to keep showing up for yourself. Only this way will you be able to keep figuring things out and growing.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That you should never give up/surrender. Actually, this is the first step (in my opinion and experience) to becoming the best version of yourself: first we want to accept that we are limited, vulnerable and irrational beings- we mostly make decisions based on our emotions. We surrender to the fact that it is uncertain what will happen tomorrow, and we leave it to God. Only then can we become “realistic” (whatever that means) and clear about where we are now, what we are grateful for, what we want to change and what our goals are, and what are the next few steps for us towards our goals. Slow and steady wins the race.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I saw the good in each person- I focused on empowering people!
