Hi Zully, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Little Sky Soft Play was created with the vision of providing fun, safe, and beautiful play spaces for the smallest members of our community. As parents of two young girls, we recognized the need for an experience that not only gives parents peace of mind but also helps bring their event vision to life.
Our story is rooted in hard work, family, and service. I am an immigrant from Peru and work as an Emergency Department nurse, while my husband and co-owner is a Marine Corps veteran. Together, we combined our passion for family and creating memorable experiences to build Little Sky Soft Play.
What started as an idea has grown into a business dedicated to creating magical environments where babies and toddlers can safely explore, play, and develop important motor and social skills. Every setup is thoughtfully designed to be both visually beautiful and developmentally engaging, allowing children to have fun while parents enjoy their special celebrations.
Today, we are proud to serve families throughout Miami and surrounding areas, helping create unforgettable memories one event at a time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like most small businesses, it has not always been a smooth road. Starting Little Sky Soft Play while balancing full-time careers and raising two young children came with its challenges. There were many late nights spent researching, planning, cleaning equipment, managing social media, and preparing for events after long workdays.
We were entering an industry that was completely new to us, so there was a steep learning curve. Building brand awareness, earning the trust of clients, and growing through word-of-mouth took time, patience, and consistency.
There are many businesses in the event industry, so it was important for us to create a name for ourselves and stand out. From the beginning, we have focused on providing exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for our clients, and being a reliable partner for parents who are already managing the stress of planning important milestones. We understand how meaningful these celebrations are, and we take pride in helping make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
One of the biggest challenges has been balancing family life, our careers, and entrepreneurship. However, those challenges have also been our greatest motivation. Every obstacle has taught us something valuable and helped us improve our business.
We also know that we could not have done this alone. The support of our families has been invaluable from the very beginning. They believed in our vision before it became a reality and have supported us in countless ways. Their belief in us has played a huge role in our journey. It truly takes a village.
Looking back, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing families enjoy our setups, watching children play and explore safely, and knowing we helped create special memories makes all the hard work worth it.

At Little Sky Soft Play, we create safe, modern, and beautiful soft play setups for babies and toddlers across Miami, thoughtfully designed for birthdays and special events. We’re known for our clean setups, attention to detail, and custom touches that bring each family’s vision to life.
As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of trust. We thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment, making baby safety our top priority and ensuring parents feel confident and at ease. We feel very proud in the heartfelt messages we receive from families after events, knowing we helped make their day extra special means everything to us.
We offer discounts to honor first responders and military families as a small way of giving back. What sets us apart is our commitment to a full, stress-free experience, from the first message to the final setup, we’re reliable, supportive, and focused on making every event feel effortless and memorable.
At the end of the day, we love creating spaces where little ones can safely play and explore while parents enjoy the moment.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What we like most about Miami is the energy and diversity. It’s a city full of life, culture, and celebration, which makes it such a beautiful place to run a business centered around family events and milestones. We also love the strong sense of community among local families and small businesses, we’ve felt welcomed and supported as newcomers. There’s also room to grow, collaborate, and support each other, which we really value.
What we like least is that, at times, it can feel very fast-paced and competitive, especially in the event industry. Standing out as a small business can be challenging, but it has also pushed us to stay consistent, improve our service, and really focus on building trust with our clients.
