Today we’d like to introduce you to The Yoni Lady.
The Yoni Lady, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was in need of a healer- so I became one! The Yoni Lady, born Cherica Jones at the early age of 26 Diagnosed with endometriosis & fibroids after a period that never went off and being rushed to the hospital from a women’s correctional facility (Serving a three-year sentence for Bad Checks) for a blood transfusion! Never went through anything like this before. This was all very new and very scary. All the doctors at the ER seem to offer was a ton of a birth control and/or Hysterectomy! I knew I had to heal myself.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Sheesh!!! Smooth- For a single woman with a not so good background!! Never!! But anything worth having is worth fighting for& fighting to be on rooms with the right people is what I did!! Starting something new is not always easy and sure enough, if you have a few strikes against you, it’s a little rough. Despite it all, I’m able to surpass all that was meant to destroy me!
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I am The Yoni Lady. I own a holistic women’s day spa, Yoni Spa Room where I provide Yoni Steams, Yoni Products, Vajacials, Waxing, Womb Meditation, Yoga, Yoni Parties, a true sacred space for women to come in and cleanse & heal. We help women cleanse, tighten, tone&detox their sacred space YONI. Having a podcast sets me apart from most spa owners. “The Yoni Lady Talks” has allowed me to enter into larger cities such as Miami and other parties of South Florida. I have received so much love and support and many orders from our online store Yonisparoom.com.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Opening my physical location in Savannah, Georgia. Being on The Breakfast Club morning show. Gabrielle Union & Angela Rye both giving me recognition on Instagram @theyonilady. And launching my Podcast “The Yoni Lady Talks.” Available on iTunes, Spotify, Anchor, SoundCloud & more.
