Today we’d like to introduce you to Wölf Tomas & Lautaro Garcia De La Pena
WÖLF , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our journey began back in 2015 in Argentina, when we formed a rock band called Indis. As brothers, music was always part of our connection, but as time passed, our tastes evolved. Six years later, we found ourselves drawn into the world of electronic music, captivated by its fresh sounds and rhythms. We started small, playing local parties, and soon began producing our own tracks.
In 2020, we made a bold move to Barcelona, just as the world was hit by the COVID pandemic. We hustled to get gigs while trying to make ends meet, constantly pushing our boundaries. By 2022, one of us was hired as a designer for a Miami-based brand, giving us a new perspective and a fresh start.
Inspired by this shift, we launched our own event series, CONTROL. The concept was simple: no social rules, just pure freedom on the dance floor. Our first parties were a huge success, featuring international DJs like KASIA and ADAM SELLOUK. Now, we’re setting our sights on expanding CONTROL globally, bringing that same energy to new cities and audiences worldwide.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t!! More when you are doing something artistic that the only motivation lies within you and there are no money remunerations. This is the most difficult thing for an artist, more in a country like the US where you need to get a steady job, is to survive and find time in your free time to do what you love.
This is the famous Amateur situation until you became professional and you can live from what you love to do. It is a big bet on yourself.

Consistency is our greatest strength, and we’re committed to pushing forward no matter the challenges. In today’s world, consistency is essential for success in any industry.
Our goal is not only to create the best music but to make every moment count for those listening to it or attending our events. Beyond entertainment, we aim to convey a deeper message through our music—a message of inner strength and awareness. We want to inspire people to stay conscious of the global issues around us and to contribute, even in small ways, to making the world a better place.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
That nothing is permanent! that we can’t be attached to anything.
