Today we’d like to introduce you to Wansley Racine.
Hi Wansley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I used to work as an accounting manager for a private company. During COVID, the owner called me into his office and told me I’d have to decide which one of my staff to lay off. Everyone I managed at the time was significantly older than me, and it hit me that I’d have to look a grown man or woman in the face and tell them they could no longer feed their family because we couldn’t afford to pay them. That experience changed me. I started Racine Financials that same year and began steadily building my knowledge of how to run a business. Fast forward to January 2025 I quit my job, packed up my things, and moved to Miami to run my business full time. And that’s where I am now.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been easy. The hardest part is trying to get your business name out there and securing more clients, especially in such a saturated market.
