Meet Wally Lewend of Live Easy Homeopathy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wally Lewend.

Hi Wally, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I was pregnant with my first born I knew I wanted another option of healthcare that actually supported the body rather than just suppressing symptoms when he were to get sick. I always knew about homeopathy as a great option, I just felt overwhelmed of not knowing where to begin. Luckily, a dear friend gifted me my first homeopathic medicine kit and a book. While I was still pregnant my husband, who works in construction, got a puncture wound in his shin, so I phoned that friend and asked how I could treat it homeopathically. My husband and I were both amazed with how quickly he healed. Not much longer after that I had given birth and was faced with mastitis from breastfeeding. That same friend guided me through navigating treating that infection with homeopathy after I had tried days prior doing “home remedies” to cure it, nothing worked. But, after just 2 hours the redness lessened and I could function again. I was amazed that I did not have to turn to antibiotics with how bad it had gotten. Finally, the final kicker was when my baby was 8 weeks old he got a bacterial infection that the hospital said only antibiotics would fix. So, as we drove home from the hospital I asked my husband if we could just try treating it homeopathically before turning to antibiotics, he agreed. I worked with a certified homeopath and after just a couple of doses all of his symptoms cleared up with ease. I was, yet again, amazed. This is what made me want to go to school to learn more about this incredible form of medicine. While I was in school it did not stop to work wonders on me and my family. It rid my dad of his life long asthma, my moms 30 years of rosacea, and my husbands “workaholic” state. For me, it has cured, passing a miscarriage when I was told only a D&C would do it, I finally kept a pregnancy after 3 miscarriages. During my second home birth it fixed my cervical lip and stopped my hemorrhage. And for my toddler it kept him out of the hospital when he woke up not able to breath from croup, impetigo, hand foot and mouth, respiratory infections, and issues with falling asleep. Now that I have finished school and am in my personal practice of being a homeopath, it never ceases to amaze me what this medicine is capable of. I love being able to share this medicine with others.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say yes and no. No, because my family had to face adversity and illness in order to see the incredible depths of homeopathy. But, YES, because of homeopathy we were able to navigate those illnesses with confidence thanks to the homeopathy. I also chose to start school when my oldest son was 6 months old and had another baby while still in school. So, going to school while becoming a mom was very challenging it also taught me so much.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in a few things: acute illness care (anything from the common cold, flus, stomach bugs, skin infections, etc), pregnancy care (women dealing with ailments during pregnancy), and pediatrics (helping kids through chronic illness (this can be anything from developmental delays, to behavioral issues, to deep rooted pathology). Although, I do see many other types of cases.
I am most proud of seeing kids that had been struggling/moms being told “nothing is wrong” or “take this pharmaceutical med” and seeing them thrive.
I think what sets me apart is how invested I am in others health. I know how desperate things can feel when you or your family member is sick, so I always remember those feelings I had in those moments and I try to be as responsive as I possibly can for families.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I feel I have somewhat already said this, but both because i have been faced with illness in my family but luckily we had homeopathy to get us through those scary and uncertain times.
