Today we’d like to introduce you to Virginia Valere.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I paint and sculpt and I am addicted to skulls. I just want to have fun through my paintings and sculptures, mixing different styles that are often diametrically opposed. Born into a family of artists from several generations, I was always surrounded by various talents. From theater to painting, through singing, dancing, and more, my childhood made me the women and the artist I am today. One who is not afraid to show a style, my style. I like to mix styles and worlds that are often diametrically opposed.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Of course not! The biggest obstacle, I had to fight, really, was my family! Your parents are more focused on you being a doctor, a lawyer, etc but not an artist, a ” mountebank,” ahaha.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Virginia Valere Urban artist – what should we know?
I am, that’s how the galleries call me, an Urban Street artist. The difference between me and the other artists, in Miami, at least, is that I don’t specialize in painting or sculptures, etc. I use as many media as possible. I paint, I sculpt, I am a photographer, I make digital compositions… Basically, I paint on everything and anything. I am proud of what I do no matter what I am working on. It’s my passion, my life, my hobby, my job and my companion everyday of my life.

Besides my art teacher ( the first one) there is only one thing that I can thank: social media. I work intensely with a lot of social medias and post everyday, that is my biggest help!
