Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Ojea
Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Ojea Cosmetic Group, “OCG”, is a boutique cosmetic dermatology practice located in Miami, FL. OCG specializes in aesthetic facial rejuvenation and holistic skin and body health. Our founder, Tiffany Ojea, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, with more than 10 years of experience. OCG was founded on her passionate vision to create individualized care plans focusing on science-backed treatments, in order to achieve client’s unique goals and outcomes.
Tiffany Ojea, received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and began practicing as a nurse in the Emergency department. She went on to become nationally and internationally trauma certified, practicing in Level I Trauma Centers and working globally in Emergency Rooms. During her years as a nurse, Tiffany found herself drawn to the anatomy and disease processes that affect the skin, head, and neck . This fueled her to return to the University of Miami to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree. After graduating, she continued her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in both otolaryngology (ENT) and dermatology. In 2016 she founded Ojea Cosmetic Group after countless hours of advanced training and market research.
Since opening OCG, Tiffany has remained active in Academia as a professor for the University of Miami and a lecturer for the U.S. Department of State.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Tiffany’s vision when opening Ojea Cosmetic Group was to create a concierge experience unique to each client. She had a goal to curate a treatment menu and style that stood out from the hustle and bustle of the Miami scene. Creating this individualized experience for clients began as a mobile concierge service and quickly gained popularity amongst many in Miami. After a few months, Tiffany decided to open an office space that offers its clients innovative face and body services. Today, more than 8 years later, OCG maintains its core value of providing care with an individualistic approach to each client.
As you know, we’re big fans of Ojea Cosmetic Group. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
In order to provide the safest and best treatments to her patients, Tiffany continues to educate herself on the latest science in the industry by regularly attending educational conferences around the nation. Ojea Cosmetic Group uses a conservative approach to create a natural and youthful appearance. We carry a diverse portfolio of FDA approved brands and products such as Neurotoxins, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, Biostimulators, Collagen Induction Therapy and skin care products in order to treat each client’s unique desires.
What were you like growing up?
Tiffany was born and raised in Miami, FL. Growing up she spent majority of her time playing competitive volleyball and tennis. Off the court, you could find her volunteering in the community and with doctors or spending quality time with her family and friends on the ocean. One of Tiffany’s life passions is traveling. After becoming a nurse, she joined her passion for travel with nursing and worked in different countries such as Kenya, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Chile and many more.
