Meet SONY BABIKIAN of Pembroke Pines

Today we’d like to introduce you to SONY BABIKIAN.

Hi SONY, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began my journey in Maracaibo, Venezuela, where I discovered my passion for communication at a very young age. I built my career in radio, eventually becoming a producer and host of a daily morning show that connected with thousands of listeners through news, culture, and human stories. Those years shaped not only my voice, but my purpose: to inform, inspire, and connect.

Years later, I came with my family to the United States. It was a challenging transition, personally and professionally, but also a defining one.

Starting from zero in a new country pushed me to rediscover my strengths and adapt my experience to a new environment. I continued working in communications, marketing, and customer service, while also building my own path as a voiceover artist and coach in Spanish, public speaking, and self expression.

Today, I combine all those experiences into a mission that feels deeply personal: helping others find their voice, communicate with confidence, and express who they truly are. My journey has not been linear, but every step, both the highs and the hardships, has shaped the professional and the person I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In fact, some of the most meaningful parts of my journey have come through challenges.

Leaving my home country and starting over in the United States was one of the hardest experiences of my life. I had to rebuild not only my career, but also my sense of stability and identity. There were moments of uncertainty, fear, and starting from roles that didn’t reflect my full professional background.

On a personal level, navigating change while supporting my family and adapting to a new culture required emotional strength and resilience. Professionally, I had to learn how to reposition myself, rebuild credibility, and open new opportunities in a completely different environment.

However, those challenges became my greatest teachers. They strengthened my character, deepened my empathy, and gave a new meaning to my work. Today, when I help others find their voice and confidence, I do it from a place of real experience, not just theory.

So no, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but it has been a meaningful one, and I wouldn’t change the lessons it has given me.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work at the intersection of communication, voice, and human connection. With a background in media, marketing, and public relations, I specialize in helping individuals and brands communicate with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

As a voiceover artist, I’ve had the opportunity to bring messages to life for television, radio, and digital platforms, including numerous commercial voiceovers for Univision. Through voice, tone, and storytelling, I’ve connected with diverse audiences in meaningful and memorable ways.

At the same time, as a Spanish and public speaking coach, I guide people in overcoming stage fright, improving their diction, and expressing themselves with confidence, whether in professional or personal settings. I have also been invited on multiple occasions as a speaker for diploma programs at the Organization of American States (OAS), where I’ve shared insights on communication, digital media, and public speaking with international audiences.

What I’m most proud of is not just my professional path, but the impact I’ve been able to create. Helping someone find their voice, sometimes after years of insecurity or fear, is incredibly meaningful to me. Seeing that transformation is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

What sets me apart is that I don’t teach communication only from theory. I bring real life experience from years behind the microphone, in front of audiences, and through personal challenges that required me to rebuild my voice, both literally and emotionally. I combine technique with empathy, structure with authenticity.

For me, communication is not just about speaking well, it’s about being truly heard. And that’s the space where I do my best work.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with me in several ways, depending on what they’re looking for. I offer one on one coaching in Spanish public speaking, and communication skills, where I help individuals build confidence, improve their expression, and find their authentic voice.

I’m also available for voiceover projects in both English and Spanish, collaborating with brands, media, and content creators who want to connect with their audience in a meaningful and professional way.

For collaborations, I’m always open to working with platforms, teams, or initiatives that value communication, storytelling, and personal growth. Whether it’s through content, workshops, or media projects, I enjoy creating spaces where ideas and voices can truly connect.

The best way to reach me is through my social media @sonybabikian or www.sonybabikian.com , where I personally connect with each inquiry. And for those who simply want to support my work, following, sharing, and engaging with my content goes a long way, it helps amplify a message that I believe is important: that everyone deserves to be heard.
