Today we’d like to introduce you to Shirley Aguirre.
Shirley, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Shirley Pear Tans was born inside Shirley Pear Lingerie Boutique, hence its name. In 2007, we added spray tanning services to the boutique, and became popular very quickly.
In 2009, due to a road construction on the street where the boutique was located, the boutique had to close its doors, but the spray tanning services continued inside a nearby Beauty Salon. Due to growing popularity for on demand services, Shirley Pear Tans transitioned into a mobile service as well, serving customers at their locations and ours.
At the moment, we have locations in Midtown, Brickell, and South Beach, and serve customers at their home/hotel anywhere from Ft Lauderdale to South Miami.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been quite a road with many positive changes. We have grown slowly, but have been able to position ourselves as a premier spray tanning service in Miami.

Shirley Pear Tans specializes in Custom Spray Tanning Services, each spray tan is performed by hand, in under 20 minutes our clients can get a custom tan that will last several days without spending a minute under the harmful UV rays of the sun or tanning beds. We are known for our high-quality products and excellent customer service. We offer extended hours and accommodate to our client’s needs. Our clients love us, and our reviews speak for us.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Seeing my work in Maxim Magazine and Playboy magazine!
Seeing my work on runway shows for Liliana Montoya Swim and Lybethras Swimwear, coming up July 23rd 2017 for Miami Swimweek!
