Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheryn Delgado-Abalos.
Sheryn, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been vegan since I was 13 years old for ethical and compassionate reasons. It has been my passion since then to be a Wellness Advocate and Entrepreneur and opened my first cafe when I was 22 years old in 1994 called Naked Earth Natural Foods. I also taught for Wild Oats and Whole Foods as their Vegan instructor, a private chef and wellness consultant.
Has it been a smooth road?
I truly believe the obstacle is the path and life always presents some bumps on the road. But I get to appreciate the opportunity for growth and to be a solution seeker than focus on the struggles.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Plant Theory Botanical Burger Cafe story. Tell us more about the business.
Plant Theory Botanical Burgers are artisan crafted burgers and each one has a unique flavor profile. We use the best organic or responsibly grown ingredients and use eco conscious materials wherever possible. We’re proud of being on the top veg places to visit in Miami and continue to support and promote this cruelty free-heart centered lifestyle.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Plant based lifestyles is not a trend and the millennials ate taking it to the next level. They understand the impact of their dollar, their diet and lifestyle choices and how it affects their health, physically, emotionally, and spiritually and the whole planet.
