Hi Shakeisha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always wanted to change the world. As a little girl, I imagined that would look like feeding everyone who was hungry and giving them hugs.
As a woman who has healed in grown in so many ways, I now know my role in changing the world truly began with allowing the Lord to change me. After experiencing childhood abuse and neglect, volatile romantic relationships, and assault: God’s love was truly my saving grace.
Things have now come full circle as I embrace, with childlike vigor – my innate desire to change the world one heart at a time, beginning with mine.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I plan on launching a mentorship academy for young women ages 16-24 on April 16, 2023.
It will be called Heal Her Academy and is a project very near to my heart that will fill a deficit for young women in need of guidance and safe emotional spaces.
