“My journey actually started with a personal fascination for the ‘mechanics’ of learning. I founded Sapneil Tutoring in 2010 with a very simple, albeit ambitious, goal: to move away from the ‘big box’ tutoring model. I saw too many students being treated like numbers in a system that prioritized curriculum over the individual. I wanted to build something that combined elite-level strategy with a deep, clinical understanding of how a student actually processes information.
My path hasn’t been a traditional straight line in education; it’s been a pursuit of what I call ‘academic freedom.’ While growing the company, I continued my own education, eventually earning a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine), an MPH (Master of Public Health), and an MS in Interdisciplinary Studies. This clinical background fundamentally changed how we tutor. It moved our mission beyond just ‘teaching math or reading’ and into the science of learning—addressing things like testing anxiety, cognitive load, and stress management.
Today, Sapneil Tutoring has grown from a local Miami project into a premier institution with nearly a dozen locations across South Florida, from Pinecrest to Wellington. We’ve guided over 10,000 students and helped them secure more than $25 million in scholarships.

“I think any entrepreneur who says the road was smooth is leaving out the most interesting chapters. For Sapneil Tutoring, the journey has been a marathon of adaptation rather than a sprint.
One of the most significant early struggles was the personal balancing act. In the first five to seven years of the company, I wasn’t just building a business; I was deep in my own clinical training—earning a DMD, an MPH, and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. There were many nights where I was transitioning directly from an anatomy lab in New York or a clinic in Miami to a late-night curriculum development session for our SAT programs. That ‘double-life’ required an immense amount of discipline, but it was also our greatest catalyst. It forced me to refine our methods to be as efficient as possible, because my own time was so limited.
Another hurdle was the ‘Big Box’ barrier. When we started, the tutoring industry was dominated by massive, franchised corporations with million-dollar marketing budgets. As a boutique firm, our struggle was proving that a high-dosage, individualized approach could actually outperform the standardized giants. We had to fight for every seat at the table by letting our results speak for us—showing parents that a $250-point SAT jump wasn’t a fluke, but the result of a scientific process.
Finally, we’ve navigated the technological and industry shifts of the last decade. We are also incredibly excited to introduce the Parikh Global Admissions Group. Expansion is also a major theme for us this year. We are currently building out new state-of-the-art centers in North Palm Beach and Boca Raton.
