Hi Ruth, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi my name is Ruth Taylor I am the solo owner of Kidz on the Rise I been in the childcare field for over 10years but after a multi betrayals from helping others open up their businesses with the grace of God I decided to use the same knowledge I gave others and do it for my self. I am a certified Youth Life coach, Zumba instructor and my degree in Early childcare.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Opening up a brand new business isnt always smooth. I had to close one business and open another in less than year being a license family childcare it takes lot of work, preparation and passing state inspections can be a bit overwhelming. But with the help of Christ we did it.

I am own a license Family Childcare and Youth fitness center. We specialize in everything youth. We have a home where we teach children ages 2-5 how to be read, write, and problem solve not just academic but life skills. During the evening and weekend our Youth fitness center focus on children ages 6- and up where we host Zumba, exercises and mentorship our priorities is to focus on the whole child their mind, body, and soul by not just working out, but giving them a safe place to do their homework , go over Gods word, field trips , mentoring and so much more.
The reason Kidz on the rise is different from every other childcare is we focus on the child and their family by providing a positive, safe environment for them to learn how to deal with self, school, peers and life obstacles.
The thing I love most about Kidz on the rise is that’s is center on Christ and we know without him we wouldn’t be open and flourishing to help not just our youth but our community.
