Hi Rosanna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Med Aesthetics Miami was founded by myself, Rosanna Bermejo. It started as a dream inside the walls of a small office at the University of Miami Hospital. Similar to good wine that needs time for an enhanced taste, Med Aesthetics Miami has been around for approximately fifteen years, fine tuning its recipe. From those humble origins, Med Aesthetics Miami has now three centers.
I wanted to build an aesthetics and wellness center where people felt good about themselves. My dream was to inspire others, nourish their skin and spirits, and help them feel good about themselves. I first initiated a career in Business and Economics, for which I have a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA. This background coupled with my acquired experience in corporations and other medical offices, allowed me to learn important business skills. When the time was ripe to follow my dream of opening my wellness center, I did so and went back to school to pursue a degree as an RN (Registered Nurse), BSN, and MSN (Nurse Practitioner). These degrees allowed me to become a more comprehensive aesthetics and rejuvenation center.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It is only with passion and determination that all the challenges can be overcome. When Med Aesthetics Miami was founded, I not only had to do it all myself, but I started with vey little cash. Building Med Aesthetics Miami has required learning from a diversity of disciplines, but also multitasking. It has required countless sleepless nights and endurance. It has been a path of self realization, self growth and self love. Without those elements, I truly believe that no venture can be possible.
The challenges vary as we grow, and while at the beginning it may have been the limited resources, every business has to adapt to the new challenges that arise. In recent years, the environment has become increasingly competitive. Only by striving to be the best can we remain in business. That by itself, requires continuous learning of new techniques and products, and assuring our clients that we have their very best interest in mind, and only bring the best and safest treatments and products to them.

Med Aesthetics Miami has the clients’ best interest at heart. We are true to our motto: Our Promise Is More Than Beauty. We specialize in wellness and aesthetics treatments, and offer a comprehensive approach from the inside out. In other words, much how a stool needs all legs to be firm, we try to look at all variables involved in wellness and aesthetics to combine those treatments and products in a customized manner, as opposed to a one size fits all style. We have been recognized by many including Expertise, Google, Classpass, Yelp as among the highest rated companies. Inmode, the maker of the Morpheus8, has included us among their top providers for Morpheus8 treatments in 2023.
Among our service offerings are Botox, Fillers, Morpheus8, Body Contouring and weight loss treatments, lasers, Fraxel, Nordlys IPL, facials, Hydrafacials, and more. We are also introducing IV Therapy for skin health and anti-aging.

What makes you happy?
I can say, that generally speaking, I am a happy person. Happiness is a state of mind and appreciation. It is a certain contentment with life. I believe it is each person’s responsibility to create that which makes them happy and to adjust their views and attitudes in cases where these our blinding us and taking our ability to be happy away from us.
Now being specific, I am happy when I am one with myself and my thoughts. In other words, when I am aligned such that what I believe and feel are reflected in what I do .
