Today we’d like to introduce you to Peggy Tanous.
Hi Peggy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started acting at 10 yrs old and then modeling around 14. Primarily did swimsuit, fitness and sportswear modeling and lifestyle commercial print. Then I got into being a technology speaker/narrator for large companies like LG, Sharp, THX etc. From that I moved into hosting. I hosted several shows, QVC, infomercials, etc. After Orange County Housewives on Bravo I continued with my hosting and now also do a lot of lifestyle creator work on IG! Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Lucky for me its been a smooth road, but I also believe you choose your path and how it will go! Choose happiness. Choose to be successful!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Being on a reality show was the last thing I ever thought I would do coming from being a SAG actress. But it’s taken over now. When I was approached to do it I was going through post partum depression and missed working, so decided it might be a fun change and get me out of my funk. At the end of the day, it wasn’t me, so I left my 5 year contract during my 2nd season. I am forever grateful for the doors it opened and opportunities it provided!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I believe taking risks is a vital part of success. Within reason of course. Lol. There is a saying “you have to spend $$ to make $$” and I think you do have to invest in yourself to be the best you can be to others and same with a business.
