Meet Paul Fearon of Male Fashion Geek

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Fearon

Hi Paul, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My love for fashion started at a very tender age. I grew up in Jamaica and my parents were Christians. As a result, my siblings and I grew up having to attend church. In Jamaica going to church meant dressing up in your best attire at all times. My dad was a preacher so he would dress up in custom-made suits, french cuff shirts, big knot ties, and tailored trousers.

As I grew I started to emulate my dad’s style of dressing. As the only son of my Mom, she ensured that I was nicely & neatly dressed for church. My dream as a teenager was to be employed in the Banking sector because of how sharply attired the men were. That dream became a reality and I was able to do the same. My love for fashion and styling intensified and grew over the years.

I emigrated to Toronto Canada from Jamaica after spending a few years in the banking industry and that exposed me to the Western and European style & fashion. I was like a sponge and quickly embraced the fits, fabrics, and everything that came along with it.

I later relocated to South Florida and was excited to further expand my love for fashion with a greater love and appreciation for colors, prints, and the vibrancy that is associated with Florida.

This has lent itself to the evolution of my style as a result of my immersion into my creative ability. It has afforded me the opportunity to share my style with a wider audience via social media at my handle Male Fashion Geek.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been smooth. It has required hard work, consistency, and dedication.

Some of the struggles entailed a lack of support financially and otherwise, not being taken seriously initially due to not having huge followers and other obstacles which I’ve had to overcome and continue to do so.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
