Meet Patricia Ferreira of Pinecrest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Ferreira.

Patricia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My passion for helping purpose- driven women is born out of my own experiences, struggles, and breakthroughs. During the darkest times of my life, I made the mistake of isolating myself from others and feeling less worthy. No one should have to go through life’s challenges alone.

My mission is to help you find your way through difficult situations, discover your true identity and inner strengths so that you can step into your next level of success.

Born in Harlem, NY, from Dominican Immigrants, I was raised by powerful women with a “refuse to lose,” mentality. These “Boss Lady” attributes led me to be the first in my family to graduate college, pursue a successful career in corporate America, marry my high schools sweet heart and raise three beautiful children.

After twenty-two years, at the age of 44 my marriage ended, I lost my business, my house and began the journey of caring for my mother through breast cancer.

When my mom lost her battle with cancer, I hit rock bottom. I felt worthless and powerless. I felt the darkness, loneliness, and fear of all my past failures begin to close me in. I suffered from panic attacks, had sudden bursts of anxiety and feared to leave the house.

Slowly, I found peace and clarity through prayer, meditation, journaling, and yoga. I began to lift myself up and put myself back together piece by piece. This experience has changed my life forever. It led me to discover my passion for helping others, especially women. Allowed me to look outwards and see how many people needed inspiration, guidance, and support, so I began my path as a life coach.

All my experiences and past feelings, have led me here. My wounds are my wisdom and every day I leverage my past to help women live a more vibrant life.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Fortunately for my success, I’ve had struggles in every aspect of life – childhood, marriage, children, career, and finances.

I say fortunately because I pride myself on being positive and seeing struggles as detours that take me in the right direction.

During my childhood, I was often bullied singled-out for being an African Latino.

Getting up the corporate latter as a minority woman came with its own set of obstacles that taught me how to navigate through tough waters.

My first marriage ended after 22 years because of his numerous infidelities, which triggered severe financial difficulties.

I’m no stranger to hard times. However, my mindset is very positive, I do not like pity parties, nor placing blame on others.

My way of dealing with adversity is by pushing through and demonstrating my abilities. My most recent struggles with my mother’s cancer are what led to me finally following my heart and becoming a coach.

Please tell us about Patricia Ferreira Speaker, Business Consultant & Life Coach.
I help purpose-driven women amplify their success in business, relationships, and money so that they could step into the new level of abundance and a soul-filling life.

I’m known for working with women that have achieved success.

However, they feel like something is missing or they are not passionate about what they are doing and are just going through the motions, living a life without real purpose. Additionally, I work with women that although successful are dealing with low self-worth, limiting beliefs or have a negative relationship with money.

What makes me most proud is seeing the positive results that our clients can achieve and how this impacts their lives. Most are women entrepreneurs or high-level executives, and the changes they experience has a direct positive effect on their productivity, profitability and the people that surround them. This exponential effect makes me feel like we doing our little bit to improve the world.

What I believe sets me apart are my life experiences, it helps me connect with my clients and relate to their needs. Also, my “Amplify Your Success” program allows me to custom design a process and define the tools that match the client’s strengths, preferences, and particular needs. I am convinced that there is greatness within everyone it is a matter of discovering your identity.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would not be so concerned with fitting in, pleasing others or worried about what others think. Rather I would focus on discovering my true identity, honoring my authenticity and being unapologetic about my desires.

I would be open to doing the deep inner work and showing up for the lessons, rather than making the same mistakes and expecting different results.

I would give more importance to my personal development and spiritual growth, which build stronger emotional and leadership traits.
