Meet Pam Arias

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pam Arias.

Hi Pam, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
The idea of creating a blog was born almost 9 years ago.

I have worked in the advertising industry in Panama, in the fashion industry in London, and in the beauty industry in San Francisco, CA. All those wonderful experiences laid the foundation for this platform. It took me several years to get here. First, I had to learn more about the industry and about myself.

Friends, family, and even people on the street constantly asked me for fashion advice or complimented me on my clothes. I always wanted to share my knowledge and fashion ideas with the world. It was an amazing feeling to be recognized for something that I love to do.

When I worked at the headquarters of a beauty brand in San Francisco, CA, the need for this platform became more present. At that moment I felt very confident in my style and that positive reinforcement from friends and family gave me the push I needed to start this new job.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, of course. The industry has changed a lot since I started, adapting and understanding the new platforms, technologies, algorithm, all of that it has definitely been challenging but at the same time, it has shape my purpose my brand, and the way I communicate with my audience today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a full-time content creator for luxury brands. I specialize in creating content in an elevated way. I also create content that helps me connect with my audience by helping women to dress and feel good about themselves.

I was born and raised in Panama. I’m proud of what I have accomplished as a Latina. I’m a proud Panamanian. There aren’t a lot of Latina content creators that work with luxury brands and grateful for the opportunities that God has brought to my life.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
More than luck it has been God. I’m so grateful for everything God has allowed in my life, good, bad, the opportunities. Looking back, I feel so grateful and can’t believe all of the beautiful experiences I have been able to live throughout the years. I’m grateful for my audience too that continues to support my business year after year.
