Meet Noah Rico

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Rico.

Noah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been pursuing acting for about eight years now. My mom inspired me to begin my journey in acting after she took me along with her to a theater production. I studied acting for about three years before my mom and I decided to explore the Latin industry which was exploding in California. While continuing my studies over there, I booked a role on Nickelodeon. After that, I did a guest star spot on Disney+’s High School Musical the Musical the Series! A few months after that, I auditioned for my biggest role yet and booked a series regular spot on Gordita Chronicles! We filmed a whole season which is now out and streaming on HBOMax!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Although my acting experience has been filled with positive experiences and unforgettable moments, I have had some not-so-great moments through my journey. Leaving school and leaving most of my friends was difficult, success wasn’t instant either so getting used to rejection was hard. Being away from my family was probably the hardest part. Most of the time it’s just my mom and I so I really missed my brothers and my dad the entire time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an Actor! I’m 15 years old. I’m a freshman in High-School and I’m a twin. I’ve booked commercial roles and short films. I’ve booked Guest Star spots on both Nickelodeon and Disney+. The booking I’m most proud of so far is the series regular role I booked for an HBOMax show called Gordita Chronicles! It was just released on June 23rd. I’m really proud of my the show and I hope to have a lot more in the near future!

How do you define success?
Pursuing everything I want to pursue! I have so many ideas I want to explore. My favorite part of booking a role is definitely getting to meet all the amazing people involved in creating said film. I love meeting new castmates and preparing to throw myself into my work! Success to me means reaching all my goals.
