Meet Nada Haddad

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nada Haddad.

Nada Haddad

Hi Nada, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m French and Lebanese, married with two beautiful girls, and I’ve been living in Miami since 2019. Before coming to Miami, I’ve lived and worked in so many different places, and it’s always a challenge until you find your feet. We arrived just before Covid hit, and through the challenging times of the pandemic, I somehow managed to carve out a moment for myself and take a course on the science of well-being during which I almost immediately experienced a feeling of coming together.

I realized that to nourish myself and grow, I needed to help others find and navigate their best path forward. It’s in this spirit of engagement and mutuality that I decided to become an Executive and Life Transition coach (ACC) and NLP & Time Line Therapy® practitioner – and I haven’t looked back since. I came from a different background than coaching, having spent 15 years working in the hospitality business as an employee and an entrepreneur, however, this career change has been an incredible experience.

I’ve had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with so many talented and inspiring people through the vibrant ICF South Florida community and participated in many meaningful initiatives. I’ve been incredibly fulfilled here in Miami, and I know the skills I have learned and the awesome relationships I’ve built here will always stay with me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not a particularly smooth road because first of all I was learning a new skill set in a new city that I did not know, and I was out of my comfort zone.

I also had to accept that I was closing the door to the hospitality business after 15 years and learn how to build my confidence all over again in this new career. But because I could so clearly visualize myself as a coach, and I was so convinced at a molecular level that this was the right path for me, I always found a way to overcome any challenge.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I became an Executive & Life Transition Coach, to help people navigate their life transitions whether personal or professional. Life is full of big changes and challenges–– moving careers, relocation, marriage, divorce, becoming a parent, becoming an empty nester. Growth and balance come from moving through these transitional moments while learning to adapt to a shifting sense of self.

In these transition phases, filled with daunting opportunities and challenges, it can be easy to feel blocked, powerless, off-balance, and unable to take control. Through the coaching process, we create the space the client needs to step back and gain clarity. On where they want to go, and what’s stopping them from getting there. On what they want to do, and how they want to do it. On what they want their life to look like, today, and tomorrow.

During our sessions, we create new associations that empower them, build new skills, and learn the tools they need to create the self-efficacy they need to live the life they want and move to a place of power and fulfillment, where the wants and needs of their heart, mind, and body are aligned.

With accredited CTA training (Coach Training Alliance) and internationally recognized certification in both Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy™ (TLT), I am officially fluent in the language of transition, as well as in English and French.

Do you have any advice for those just starting?
If there’s one piece of advice, I could give to someone who is thinking of getting into coaching, is really to take the time to understand how our brain works. The power of our conscious and unconscious mind.

Understanding this was revelatory for me and helped me be more resilient and creative and able to see events from varied perspectives. Another thing that is important, especially at the beginning, is to always make sure you have a sense of agency, a feeling of productivity, and moving forward.
