Hi Myrene, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved to Tampa, FL, with $300, the clothes on my back, and my two kids, determined to leave a domestic violence relationship and start fresh. The lashing job that transferred me ended up firing me due to my lack of childcare, and I couldn’t keep a traditional job. Out of necessity, I began working from home doing lashes and driving for Lyft on the side to pass out business cards and make extra cash.
Over time, I grew my clientele and expanded my business by offering trainings and lash supplies. After four years in Tampa, I felt like I hit a ceiling and was called to something bigger. In 2023, I took a leap of faith and moved to Miami with no clientele. Since then, I’ve opened a studio, begun hiring, and am now mentoring other lash artists to grow in this industry while also being a home schooling mom to my twins. It’s been a challenging but rewarding journey, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When I moved to Miami, I was starting completely over with no clientele, but the biggest challenge was personal. Shortly before the move, my father was hospitalized, and a few months later, he passed away. Trying to rebuild my business in a new city while grieving, being a mother, and maintaining positive energy for my clients was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. It took a lot of strength and faith to push through, but those struggles shaped me and made me even more determined to succeed.

My business is built on empowering lash artists and clients alike. At its core, my brand specializes in creating timeless, natural beauty with classic and volume lash extensions, while also mentoring and training aspiring lash artists to build successful, sustainable careers. What sets me apart is my journey—I’ve built this business from the ground up, overcoming challenges that taught me the value of resilience, adaptability, and creating systems that truly work.
I’m most proud of the community I’ve created—a space where clients feel beautiful, artists feel supported, and excellence is always the standard. My brand reflects not just quality but heart: every lash set, every mentorship, and every training is rooted in my passion for helping others succeed and feel confident.
