Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Faith Ramirez.
Hi Melissa, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Several years ago, I woke up to the fact that even though life in NYC seemed successful on the outside, there was great turmoil within.
I had a rude awakening (dark night of the soul) to be forced to realize that I had been playing small and out of touch with my fullest integrity.
I flew to Hawai’i on a one-way ticket, after a failed suicide attempt, from a calling that I felt deeply within me.
At that point, I was hearing voices and experiencing pain and illness that was undiagnosable, completely unaware that I was just at the beginning of my journey to realize that I am highly sensitive, empathic, and can communicate with the spiritual realm.
Throughout my journey of becoming an empowered empath and owning my superpower of being a sensitive, I am now in the space of guiding others on their journey of remembering their true self and stepping into their greatness.
In owning my role for the collective healing of the planet as an intuitive coach and medicine woman, I have guided many clients successfully to releasing and healing fears, addictions, illnesses and led them to self-realize to their divine gifts and stand in their power in all areas of life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Not a smooth road at all.
It has been quite bumpy as what I was experiencing was recognized by society as a “mental health disorder,” when really it was just a misunderstood spiritual gift I was carrying
When I was in my dire straits and had nowhere else to turn, I decided to get an analysis from a psychiatrist.
Interestingly enough when the white Rx paper was passed onto me with strong medications and several mental health disorders, some powerful enough to have locked me up in a psychiatric institution, my body reacted to the thought of it all, and I projectile vomited on the doctor.
That for me was a deep sign that this is not understood by the mainstream healthcare system, and hence I began my journey to healing and self-mastery.
We’ve been impressed with Lovingly Raw Coaching, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a medicine woman and intuitive coach, I hold space for clients to heal, level up, and tap into their power through releasing fears, traumas and re-programming their mind with trusting of their own intuition.
I specialize in energetically reading a clients emotional, physical, and psychospiritual blocks that are holding them back from stepping into their greatness.
I am known for being a channel (psychic) of whom can identify what many traditional doctors, therapists, and “coaches” cannot.
What sets me apart from others is that many of my clients come to me when they have extensively exhausted all other means to find resolution to their issues. I am a more expansive alternative to traditional therapy.
What I am most proud of brand-wise is my authenticity and vulnerability.
It is me leading by example that gives my clients or readers permission to do the same for themselves.
My work is always in flow, and it shifts as to what I am needed for.
Currently, I offer an array of services from private client deep dives in nature for their rebirth to remember and execute their own inner power to retreats in different energetic spaces such as Hawai’i, my home country Colombia and Joshua Tree, CA
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
To just be f*ck in’ REAL.
No bullshit, no games, no more masks.
We live in a society that perpetually reminds us to be someone we are not in order to succeed.
I am here to break the old patterns that have been keeping us stuck, playing small and just unreal with self and others.
