Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Teresa Iannuzzo.
Hi Maria Teresa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My career began 14 years ago in my home country, Venezuela, as a professional model after participating in the Miss Venezuela pageant. My early years were marked by work with both national and international fashion houses. Three years ago, I moved to Miami, where I continue working as a brand ambassador and with my latest project, MTI Brand @mtibrand.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The path of an artist and entrepreneur is one full of challenges and lessons. Among these, I can mention facing the uncertainty and risk of launching a brand in a very competitive market like fashion.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the CEO of MTI Brand, a model, an influencer, and I help women empower themselves through fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I am proud of every step and stage of my career. I always strive to differentiate myself by staying true to my essence, being myself, and living my life’s purpose, which is to inspire other women.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
There are so many people I am grateful to who have supported me throughout my career, and they know who they are. Of course, I especially thank my husband and family for always supporting me and being my biggest driving force. I have also had mentors in personal, spiritual, and business aspects, including Luis “Tito” Luzardo, Rafael Egañez, and Spencer Hoffmann. They have been guides and teachers in this new stage of my life.
