Hi Maria, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
M2 Medstetics started with two nurses—Maria and Marta—who shared a passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin. We both came from strong clinical backgrounds, but aesthetics always felt like where our hearts were. After years of working in healthcare and constantly learning new techniques, we decided to create a space where clients could feel genuinely cared for, understood, and never rushed.
What began as two friends with a vision has grown into a medspa built on trust, education, and real relationships. Today, we’re proud to offer advanced treatments—like laser services with our Rohrer Aesthetics Spectrum system—while keeping our focus on what matters most: making every client feel comfortable, confident, and supported.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not—and honestly, we wouldn’t expect it to be. Like many small business owners, we faced our share of challenges along the way. Balancing our roles as nurses while building a medspa from the ground up wasn’t easy. There were long nights of planning, learning new technologies, investing in equipment like our laser, and making sure every decision aligned with the quality of care we wanted to provide.
We also had to find the right location, build a loyal client base, and juggle the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that no one really prepares you for—marketing, scheduling, budgeting, compliance, and everything in between.
But through every setback and learning curve, our shared passion kept us going. We leaned on each other, grew together, and stayed focused on creating a place where people feel safe, supported, and confident. Every challenge has made M2 Medstetics stronger, and we’re proud of the journey so far.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson we’ve learned is that growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Starting and building M2 Medstetics taught us that you don’t need to have everything figured out—you just need passion, consistency, and the courage to take the next step. We learned to trust ourselves, trust each other, and stay focused on our mission even when things felt overwhelming.
Most importantly, we’ve learned that genuine relationships are the heart of this business. When you lead with honesty, education, and care, everything else falls into place.
