So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
To talk about the beginning of Alibombo we have to go back to my childhood. This name comes from one of my favorite childhood songs, which became one of the many nicknames that my family gave me out of love. That’s where the Alibombo seed started to grow on me. At the end of my high school, my interest in the arts increased and realized that I enjoyed how is interrelated with sciences not as the opposite but a synergic force. I decided to follow a pathway that would allow me to express my passion, and I found that in civil engineering. During my time in college, I discovered my other significant interests, illustration, and that is how I started to study it in parallel to quench my thirst for the arts.
Years later, thanks to the baby shower of the princess who is now my goddaughter, I began to make christening memories. I was surprised at the people’s massive acceptance was such success, and that was the first time I considered it a parallel business to my profession. After a short time, I wanted to find a place that allowed me to show other qualities in my life, one that goes hand in hand with my passions and sees what other professional career challenges could offer me. Thus, I decided to leap of faith, start entrepreneurship, and opened my company: Alibombo. Since that moment, I have not stopped dreaming, and with the support of my family, I have developed this company, which I love, and it fills me with the satisfaction of seeing all my clients’ happy smiles.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Certainly not, this has been quite a journey for us, and the road has had many challenges, but it has taught me more than I could imagine about different aspects of my life. My first bump was leaving my daytime job as an engineer to dedicate myself entirely to my entrepreneurship and move my company forward. I remember those days with fondness because even though I didn’t count with a lot of time to myself, my family was an enormous support.
The next bump was the increasing socioeconomic difficulties that my country started passing through that made arduous to get the same materials we used to create our job. That challenged us to think outside the box and start looking for other providers and materials without compromising our products’ quality. For a few months, everything seems okay, but later we realized that the problematic situation was increasing, and we started to think in the second city that we were successful. The next thing we knew, we were living in Miami, and another challenge was here and we were ready to take it.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Alibombo – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

Sure! I have been working on our website, making an easier and fastest experience of design. Now we offer worldwide delivery, so we are really happy to provide our art with people from all over the world. Also, we have included new papers such as handmade paper that makes everything triple special and beautiful.
